By accessing and using this website, or purchasing from Lettered Atelier, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

1. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including designs, lettering artwork, images, logos, and text—is owned by Lettered Atelier, unless otherwise credited. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

2. Orders & Custom Work

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • Custom pieces are created based on details provided by you (e.g. names, dates, wording). Please check all information carefully before submitting, as errors provided by you are not our responsibility.

  • Once production has commenced, changes may not be possible.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

  • Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

  • Full payment is required before production or dispatch.

4. Delivery

  • Delivery timeframes provided are estimates. While we do our best to meet them, Lettered Atelier is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or events outside our control.

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.

5. Refunds & Consumer Guarantees

  • Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or don’t match the description.

  • Due to the personalised nature of custom calligraphy, we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind or customer-provided errors.

  • Please contact us within a reasonable time if there is a problem with your order.

6. Workshops

  • Workshop bookings are non-refundable within 48 hours of the event unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

  • If we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or alternative date.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lettered Atelier will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Our liability is limited to providing remedies required under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We collect only the personal information necessary to fulfil your order or respond to enquiries. Your information will not be shared except as required to provide our service or comply with the law.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in NSW courts or tribunals.
